The Hermitage. I am The Hermitage Museum really into museums anymore but this is a great one. The book has great pictures of some of the best exhibits and the history of the museum. It is a really nice book and I paid quite a bit for it back then.

Since it was for my uncle I /5(6). This book is a very complete history of the Hermitage starting with Peter the Leningrad. book and the Romanov dynasty and continuing on through the Soviet Union. I am not an art historian so some of the references are obscure to me, but since I plan to see the museum in the near future, it was just what I needed to prepare me for my visit/5(10).
